Frequently Asked Questions
My Dog/Cat would never sit still for a portrait!
Most of the pets I photograph actually fit this description. In fact, I specialize in photographing dogs and cats that "won't sit still." My camera takes pictures at a very high shutter speed and I'm able to capture your furry loved one in a fraction of a second. I also have tricks up my sleeve that I use to catch your pet in the perfect pose. I also use the magic of Photoshop to make your images look like your pet was the most well behaved photogenic dog or cat in the world!
I really love your outdoor portraits, but my dog has to be on a leash at all times outside.
No problem! Most of the dogs I photograph remain on a leash, especially in busy urban areas. Safety always comes first! All leashes are removed from any ordered image at no additional charge.
What is a Seeley Photography session process like?
The first step is getting in touch with me to discuss what you are looking for. Feel free to call or text 563-581-6367 or email seeleyphotography@sarahseeley.com to learn more.
We will go over the entire process, products and plan the perfect session for your family or pet. When you are ready to book a session, a retainer will hold your date. The retainer is then 100% applied towards your portrait order.
Your session can take place at my studio at 236 Main Street in Dubuque Iowa or on location in or around the Tri-State Area or Galena. I am also available to travel anywhere in the United States.
A week after your session we will schedule your viewing and ordering appointment at my studio. This is when you will be able to view all of your images and make your selections for your order. I have a computer program that will allow you to see your images projected onto your wall at various sizes and finishes so you can be confident in your choices.
After your appointment I will begin working on your custom artwork that you will cherish for a lifetime!
